Individual Lessons
The most basic and also the most prevalent form of education services is individual instruction. Often referred to as "lessons", this is one-on-one time with our instructors. The primary focus of private tuition is the development of the individual player. In a drum corps, the needs of a single drummer may go unaddressed or unnoticed due to the ability to "hide" in the band or the fact that dealing with player-by-player issues can become an inefficient use of limited band time.
Personal development as a player is one of the most important facets of any musical discipline and the various areas of instruction within the ScottishDrumming.com family are no exception. Our instructors are world-class players with superb track records and decades of experience. They will set a course for you based on your needs as an individual and your goals for progress and achievement. Our instructors will work with you to improve your technique, your methods, and even your perspective of our art.
Private Instructional Faculty
Our individual teachers are available for private lessons in the areas where they live. If we do not currently have a faculty instructor near you, we would be happy to recommend a quality teacher in your area.
