Band Clinics
The improvement of a drum corps is a unique situation as compared to that of individual players. Where an individual may move at his or her own pace during lessons, band or corps rehearsal is a place where the focus must be on the improvement of the entire unit in how the music is played together. To that end, the development of the corps with clear goals and expectations is fundamental to its potential for success.
Leading drummers often come to find that a fresh, external perspective is just what is necessary for the advancement of the corps. That is where our faculty can be of tremendous assistance! We can use our experience to provide the eyes and ears you need to take the next step as a group. We will help your group focus on unison execution to produce a better corps sound while capitalizing on your strengths to maximizing your musical potential.
Clinics are a chance for a drum corps to set aside several hours together to focus on drumming with the guidance of one of our instructors. These can be strictly-drumming days, or they can coincide with your band's rehearsal so that perhaps you might take advantage of multiple facets of our instructors' qualifications. Setting aside a day to improve as a corps can often be just the bit of motivation that many corps need to "step it up a notch" or to "take things to the next level" or even perhaps to "recommit" depending on the status of the corps beforehand.
You can count on our instructors to provide you with logical and practical advice on how to improve your drum corps' and band's performance. We offer services for snare, midsection, full percussion, ensemble, and marching and deportment. Let our professional faculty work with you to set the day's agenda to maximize the time allotted for the clinic and to get the corps headed toward success.

Due to our instructors' busy schedules, dates for clinical instruction should be arranged at least 2 to 6 months in advance.
