Andrew is relatively new to the scene of pipe band drumming having only been involved for a few years. However at 22 years old, he has been a student of percussion for over 10 years. He attended the Los Angeles Music Academy in Pasadena, California, for their drumset program, and recently received a generous scholarship to attend Monmouth College, in Monmouth, Illinois, as part of their school pipe band program. Though he may be new to the Scottish style, he is climbing the ranks quickly and has already become a Grade 2 soloist. Andrew is a member of the Grade 2 City of Chicago Pipe Band. He has been teaching drums since his sophomore year in high school and continues to bring his knowledge and passion for drumming to his students for both pipe band drumming and drumset percussion.
